Bird Shooting in Tanzania
Accommodation whilst on Safari
Our bird shooting safaris in Tanzania take place in Burko camp - a private wilderness area situated in the heart of Masai-land west of Arusha. The area is approximately 450,000 acres encompassing a huge variety of country, from the Mountain Rain Forest peaks of Burko and Losimingor Mountains, to the Rift Valley Escarpment and into the semi-arid floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Burko is an exclusive camp in our own private concession so you and your party can enjoy the African wilderness away from the crowds.
The Burko camp is a traditional safari camp. There is a central dinning and sitting room area which is a permanent structure. There are 6 large spacious en-suite client tents with either single or double beds.
I can only say my Tanzania hunt with Robin Hurt Safaris contained everything I hoped and dreamed of. Truly a special time, combining what I imagine to be old time African safari camp feel with country of immense interest. And great hunting. Something that brings a huge smile to my face every time
I think of it.”
