Namibia is a politically stable and peaceful country. Four times the size of Great Britain, more than twice the size of Germany and larger than Texas. Situated on the south-western seaboard of the African continent Namibia is bordered by Angola in the north, Botswana in the east and South Africa in the south. In the far north-east the Caprivi extends as far as Zimbabwe and Zambia. The capital is the picturesque city of Windhoek.
