THE BAG
The anticipated bag is up to 900 partridges per day and the team of guns can consist of either eight or up to ten participating guns. Shooting is with a pair of shotguns and each shooter has his own loader and also a secretario who keeps count of the number of birds shot. For safety reasons no ground game i.e. hares or rabbits, can be shot.
A SHOOTING DAY
A days shooting will normally consist of 6-8 drives with a break at midday for lunch, which is served, in the field, in a suitable location, and consists of a selection of traditional Spanish ‘tapas’. Flamenco dancers will entertain the shooters and their guests on one of the evenings at Las Golondrinas.
