The Safari World of Robin Hurt was founded by Robin Hurt. Robin’s expertise in African hunting stems from a family tradition started by his Father, the Late Col. Roger Hurt, DSO Game Warden in Kenya.

The Hurt family first came to East Africa in 1903 and Robin grew up learning to hunt on the family’s ranch. In 1963 at the age of 18 Robin was licenced as a Professional Hunter. With over 43 years continuous experience hunting all over Africa, Robin’s knowledge is invaluable to the planning of your hunting trip and giving you the safari experience of a lifetime.

Robin’s eldest son Derek is following the family tradition. Derek was first licenced as a PH in 1992 and is now Vice-Chairman of the company.

Robin’s youngest son Roger is also a licenced PH and has been with the company since 2003.

Derek and Roger are now actively involved with the day to day management of the company.

From humble beginnings The Safari World of Robin Hurt Ltd, has grown to be regarded as one of the leaders in the field, yet we continually strive to improve our safaris. We are justifiably proud of our reputation.
